Tuning Packages


Right folks. Here are some tuning packages TRL have on offer at the moment for your evo 4-9: (please note that evo 4s must have ECU from evo 5-8)

Stage 1 - £995

This package consists of a full 3" stainless steel exhaust system from the turbo back, Walboro 255 fuel pump and an EcuTek remap. Pipercross panel filter and spark plugs are an extra £50

Note: Stage 2 is taken that stage 1 is already complete. If not, stage 1 must be done at the same time as stage 2.

Stage 2 - £1800

Stage 2 will consist of Kelford 264 camshafts, Fidanza adjustable pulley(s), Boost controller, Fuel pressure regulator. Note that timing and balance shaft belts will also be changed using standard replacement parts, mapping to suit modifications.

Stage 2+ - £2250

Stage 2+ consists of all the above but will include Kelford 272 camshafts (instead of 264s), JAM double valve springs and a HKS Kevlar timing belt.

All prices include fitting etc. All mapping work will be carried out on our state of the art Dyno Dynamics 4WD rolling road. Cars will be tuned for driveability, reliability and performance, not just peak power!

Handling Packages – Mitsubishi Evo I - X

TRL Street Handling Package (Requires Minimum 17” Wheels)

This is the basic handling package, it will give overall increased handling but will suit a tight budget. Ideal for street use.

  • BC BR Series Coilovers
  • K-Sport 330mm Front Brake setup
  • Geometry set up to street or customer’s specification
  • Brake fluid changed to Millers Racing Brake Fluid 300 Plus

Upgrade Options: K-Sport 330mm Rear Brake Setup - £750
                          TEIN SuperStreet - £350 (To replace BC Coilovers)
                          TEIN EDFC - £400 (For use with TEIN suspension only)

TRL Street/Trackday Handling Package (Requires Minimum 18” Wheels)

This is the package suitable for street and trackday use. Optimum performance but an easy ride.

  • BC RM Series Coilovers
  • K-Sport 356mm Front Brake Setup
  • Geometry set up to fast road/track or customer’s specification
  • Brake fluid changed to Millers Racing Brake Fluid 300 Plus

                          TEIN MonoFlex - £870 (To replace BC Coilovers)

TRL Race Handling Package (Requires Minimum 19” Wheels)

This package is perfect for competition cars and enthusiastic track users.

  • Geometry set up to race or customer’s specification
  • Brake fluid changed to Millers Racing Brake Fluid 300 Plus
